Simple, secure, mutual consent
We built ConsentSafe as a privacy-first consent app. It exists to help two adults create a private, time-stamped, revocable Mutual Consent Agreement, not to expose sensitive information or turn your life into a data product. The public website and the app are kept separate, and the app is focused on one job: helping you create and manage an agreement together in a private, structured way.
When you use ConsentSafe, we store the information needed to create and maintain your Mutual Consent Agreements. That may include:
The details you confirm together during the agreement flow
The activity selections you make
The chosen duration for each agreement
The safe word you confirm
Your signatures and the required video step
This information exists so the agreement can function as a private, time-stamped record of what both people agreed to at that moment.
ConsentSafe stores agreement videos in encrypted, access-restricted form. These videos are not available for general playback or download inside the app, and they are not treated as content for browsing, sharing, or social features. The video step exists to support the Mutual Consent Agreement itself, not to create a media library.
Access to stored media is tightly limited. ConsentSafe does not give general staff or general user access to these videos. They are protected, access-restricted records that are not part of the normal app experience beyond creating and maintaining your agreement.
If records ever need to be released for legal purposes, they may be released only in limited circumstances, such as when we are legally required to do so or when you request that they be provided to your legal representative. This kind of access is handled separately from normal app use.
During the shared agreement flow, the second participant enters their own email address on the same device. That email entry is private: the first participant does not see the second participant’s email on screen. After the agreement is completed, the second participant receives a secure email link with limited access to that specific Mutual Consent Agreement.

Treat the agreement as something that cannot be changed or withdrawn
ConsentSafe is built around the idea that consent can always be withdrawn. Either participant can revoke an active Mutual Consent Agreement at any time. When an agreement is revoked, it stops being active going forward. When an agreement reaches the end of its selected duration, it expires automatically and is no longer active.
If you want to continue or make changes, you can create a new versioned agreement by going through the guided flow again together. That keeps the process explicit and structured instead of silently extending old terms.
ConsentSafe is meant to make consent clearer and better documented, not to replace communication, judgment, or real-time consent. It does not promise to prevent disputes or guarantee any particular legal outcome. It is a tool for structured documentation and mutual participation, with privacy and revocability at the center.
